Ordination Interviews
In the PMN Credentialing Department, we acknowledge that credentialing is not only the official and legal recognition of a Minister of the Gospel, but the recognition of a Divine Call of God on a person’s life.
It allows individuals to establish a rich connection to a family of ministers, as well as to an organization that offers support, covering, and accountability. The Assemblies of God has three levels of credentials: Certified, Licensed and Ordained, each with it’s own unique qualifications and education requirements.
Click below to learn more about the ordination process, and please join in praying for this year’s candidates and interviewers.

MEET JOHN EASTER
As executive director for Assemblies of God World Missions, John Easter oversees 2,500-plus global workers serving in over 150 countries, territories, and provinces around the world.
Dr. Easter is committed to growing AG World Missions in frontier missions and stewarding God’s call in people’s lives. His heart is for the well-being of the missionary family and their longevity in the field of their calling. He also believes in prioritizing partnership with local churches to develop new missionaries.
John and his wife Cheryl were appointed as career missionaries to Malawi in 2000. While in Africa, they trained men and women for church-planting efforts, facilitated missions mobilization, and equipped missionary educators to multiply healthy church leaders.
In 2011, Easter was appointed as a strategic leader with AG World Missions Africa and director of Africa’s Hope, a resourcing organization that supports educational initiatives for church leaders in 46 African nations. In all, he served as a missionary educator for 22 years.
In 2021, Easter joined AGWM’s Executive Committee as director of Partnership Development. In this position, he came alongside church leaders and ministry networks to align God’s people with the mission of establishing the Church among all peoples everywhere.
Easter earned a Ph.D. from Assemblies of God Theological Seminary in Springfield, Missouri. Prior to God calling his family to Africa, he pastored in the United States for 10 years.
John and Cheryl have three sons: Kevin; John-John, with his wife Calissa; and Mitchell, with his wife Alyssa and their four children.

Pure Religion Sunday
Every child deserves a family, but statistics tell a different story.
There are over 400,000 children in foster care, and 20,000 “age out” every year without ever experiencing permanency of a family. There are approximately 15,000 foster children living in the Potomac Ministry Network, and Potomac Foster Care Network is on a mission to equip and empower churches and individuals to get involved.
On a very practical level, one of the easiest ways to bring awareness to this issue is by join churches across the country in observing “Pure Religion Sunday:” an opportunity to highlight the needs of orphans.
This is traditionally observed on November 9th, but many churches choose to highlight foster care through additional moments throughout the calendar year.
To assist you and your church, we are pleased to share a few digital resources. (All resources created by the Christian Alliance For Orphans.). Click below to request resources or learn more.
