PK/MK Retreat
PK/MK Vacay is open to ALL Pastor & Missionary Kids in 1st–12th grade! This special weekend is designed to encourage, refresh, and celebrate the kids of our credential holders. Students are divided into elementary and middle/high school groups for age-appropriate experiences and activities.
Throughout the weekend, students will experience powerful services with live worship, incredible speakers, exciting activities, games, and unforgettable moments with other PKs and MKs from across our Network.
This is a weekend your student will not want to miss!
AFTER YOU REGISTER, HELPFUL TIPS:
PKMK will be held at:
Pine Creek Retreat Center
1794 Back Creek Rd, Gore, VA 22637
Registration will start at 6:00pm on Friday, September 18th 2026. The Retreat will be over at 2:00pm sharp on Sunday, September 20th. Your child/children must be picked up no later than 2:00pm.
We will not be providing dinner on Friday night, so please make sure to plan accordingly. Meals that will be provided are:
Late Night Snack- Friday night
Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner-Saturday
Breakfast & Lunch - Sunday.
Your child may bring snacks with them for in between meals. If your child has food restrictions or allergies, it is your responsibility to pack them with food that they can eat.
Packing List:
* Siblings should not pack together, as they may not be staying in the same room!
* All Bedding (sleeping bags or sheets/comforter/blanket etc.), pillow, towels and toiletries.
* Clothes for outdoor activities. We will be outside doing various actives throughout the weekend. Make sure your child is dressed accordingly. (closed toe sneakers, sweaters, jackets..etc..)
* All Medications they will need for the weekend.
* Bible, notebook, etc.
* All PYN camp/convention dress codes and conduct codes apply. If you have questions about this, please contact PYN.
* Optional- Snacks if they get hungry in between meals.

SYATP (See You At the Pole) Day
Join students across the Potomac Ministry Network and the entire nation as they gather to pray on Wednesday, September 23rd for See You at the Pole! This annual, student-led event brings young people together at their school flagpoles before class to pray for their schools, friends, families, and nation. Encourage the students and youth ministries in your church to participate and stand together in prayer!

NEXT is designed to come alongside young leaders of the Potomac Ministry Network and
help them take the next step in their life and ministry. We believe a healthy ministry begins with a growing leader. Personal growth is a process that takes place through the daily habits we practice.
You will be challenged to read growth books, reflect on leadership practices, participate in
assignments as well as spend time with influential leaders that will help challenge you to grow. On behalf of the entire Potomac Network Team, we would like to personally invite you to be a part of NEXT.

Speed the Light Golf Tournament
We would like to invite you to join our Network Leadership for the annual Next Gen Missions Golf Tournament. This year we will be hosting the tournament in Front Royal, VA at Blue Ridge Shadows Golf Course on August 25th, 2026.
The goal of the Golf Tournament is to meet the needs of our missionaries as quickly as possible. We can meet this goal through your added support above and beyond the required minimum. Please invite you family, friends, and surrounding businesses to join and/or sponsor you. Let’s believe that we can gather together to not just play golf, but to change the world.

NextGen Conference
Join us at the Potomac NextGen Conference for a 2-day experience designed to empower and equip kids, youth, and young adult leaders.
The Next Gen Conference is more than an event – it’s a movement. This is where students, leaders, and pastors come together to encounter God, grow in their calling, and be equipped to impact their schools, churches, and communities. With powerful worship, dynamic speakers, and practical breakout sessions, the Next Gen Conference is designed to resource today and raise up tomorrow’s leaders.
(TBQ) MATCH
Teen Bible Quiz (TBQ) is a discipleship ministry geared for teens in 6th through 12th grade. Each year a different book or books of the New Testament are memorized by students. Several times during the year students attend meets within their district in order to test their ability to memorize and understand God’s Word. District and Regional meets take place in the Spring of each year with the top teams advancing to Nationals. Each year thousands of dollars in scholarships are awarded to students for their hard work.

MEET THE SPEAKER:
Dan Hunter, Lead Pastor, Grace Church Houston TX
Dan and his wife, Rachel, are Lead Pastors at Grace Church in Houston, Texas. They have spent over 30 years in marriage and ministry together. Their heart has grown for the local church through their ministry to youth, families, marriages, and church planting. Dan is passionate about training and coaching leaders, church planters and athletes to maximize their kingdom impact. Dan loves to bring the Word of God to life, challenge believers, consult with churches, and encourage leaders to never settle for less than God's more. Together, they desire to see the Church at large reach people with the love of Jesus and shine bright in the world around them. Dan and Rachel are both ordained ministers and graduates of Southwestern Assemblies of God University. Dan holds multiple ministry degrees as well as a Masters in Ministerial Leadership from Southeastern University. The Hunters are blessed with twin girls, Jordyn and Avery, and love spending time together as a family!

Speed the light (STL) is a program that not only supports missionaries but also fosters a heart for missions among young people. It is an opportunity to make a tangible impact on the spread of the gospel worldwide.

See You At The Pole (SYATP)
See You at the Pole™, the global day of student prayer, began in 1990 as a grass roots movement with ten students praying at their school. Decades later, millions gather to pray on their campuses on the fourth Wednesday in September.
See You at the Pole™ is student-initiated, student-organized, and student led prayer rally where students meet at the school flagpole before school to lift up their friends, families, teachers, school, and nation to God.
Consider organizing a gathering for your local school and contact Potomac Youth, Potomac Kids or Potomac Youth Alive for creative ideas on how to make this year’s event memorable!
PKMK Retreat
Open to all pastor kids (PKs) and missionary kids (MKs) grades 1st-12th, join us September 5-7, 2025 at Pine Creek Camp in Gore, Virginia for PKMK VACAY! This annual event is an incredible opportunity with activities, live worship, amazing speakers and much more. Registration is open now and includes all lodging, meals and activities. See you there!

Potomac Youth: National Fine Arts
Held on both the local and national level, Fine Arts is a discipleship tool of the Assemblies of God designed to help students discover, develop, and deploy their ministry gifts and to learn about their God-given abilities and talents.
Whether you participate as a individual, a small ensemble or a large group – there are dozens of categories where your child or teen can shine!
