CREDENTIALING

Interested in pursuing Ministerial Credentials? Applications for Assemblies of God ministerial credentials must be are made through your local district council – The Potomac Ministry Network. There are three levels of credentials: Certified, Licensed, and Ordained. ACCESS TO OPEN CHURCH LIST

Seeking job opportunities in the Potomac Ministry Network? Our office coordinates with local churches to post openings for Lead Pastor positions on a regular basis. In order for a minister to view the current list of open churches in the Potomac Ministry Network, you must be a credentialed minister with the Assemblies of God and have a resume on file with the Potomac Ministry Network. MINISTER CARE: FIND YOUR CIRCLE

In an effort to support the Ministers, Leaders and Credential Holders in Potomac Ministry Network, we offer Presbyter Circles (for Pastors and Ministers) and Care Circles (for Para-Church Leaders and Credential Holders) to provide connection, community, support and accountability on a small-group level. Based on regions, contact our team to explore joining or leading a circle.

COUNSELING FOR MINISTERS

The Potomac Ministry Network has a Memorandum of Understanding with several counseling service, and as an investment in the health of our ministers, the PMN will pay for the first three hours/sessions of counseling for a credentialed minister. No report or notification of the counseling session will be sent to the Network. However, you must provide the number on your Assemblies of God credential card so that the counseling service can verify your status and bill the Network for counseling services. Helping Pastors Win is an initiattve led by seasoned local pastors within the Potomac Ministry Network who seek to offer free resources, advice, and guidance with fellow ministers. Potomac Ministry Network has partnered with RightNow Media – the world’s largest streaming library of Bible studies and discipleship content designed specifically to help churches equip families, resource groups, and develop leaders.
