BUSINESS SESSION RESOURCES

As we prepare to meet this May 4-6, 2026 at LEAD Conference at Trinity Baltimore, please review the information below for important instructions on the Potomac Ministry Network's Superintendent nomination and selection process.

In addition to encouraging all members of our fellowship to fervently pray in the days leading up to this important special session, please familiarize yourself with how you can participate in the voting process. Thank you in advance for your prayers and partnership!

LOCATION & TIMES

The 109th District Council of the Potomac Ministry Network will take place May 4-6, 2026, at:

TRINITY BALTIMORE: 2122 W JOPPA RD. TIMONIUM, MD 21093.

The Council will elect a new Superintendent, as a part of our event called, LEAD Conference. This webpage introduces the nominees for Superintendent.

  • LEAD Conference will begin Monday, May 4th with registration opening at 5:30pm, followed by Ordination Service at 7:00 pm. (Open to the public)

  • The Business Session will begin approximately at 9:10 AM on Wednesday, May 6th. All attendees must be checked-in by 9:00 AM in order to participate in the session. Registration opens at 8:00 AM. No latecomers - no exceptions! (Thank you for your understanding so we can stay on schedule!)

KNOW BEFORE YOU GO

  • Any registered guest for LEAD Conference may attend Wednesday’s Business Session, but only Credentialed Ministers or registered church delegates may participate in the voting during this session. Only General Council and District Council affiliated churches may register a delegate (one (1) each), and must bring a signed delegate form to the event.

  • Business Sessions will not be streamed online or recorded for replay. Only those attending in person will be able to participate in voting and ratification.

  • The Business Session will begin approximately at 9:10 AM on Wednesday, May 6th. All attendees must be checked-in by 9:00 AM in order to participate in the session. Registration opens at 8:00 AM. No latecomers - no exceptions! (Thank you for your understanding so we can stay on schedule!)

  • All voting will be done using your personal smart device (mobile cellphone), so please plan to bring that with you to the session. We will use a tool called “Poll Everywhere” to conduct our voting, but you do not need to download any software or app to participate. (As long as your phone has texting capabilities, you’re all set!) A very limited number of paper ballots will also be available for those who do not have access to a smart device.

  • The Network Leadership Team invites you to join us in prayer in the days leading up to our Business Session. Please follow along on Facebook or Instagram for daily prompts. We encourage you and the ministries you serve to use these as we pray for the Potomac Ministry Network.

THE NOMINATION PROCESS

As outlined in the Nominating Committee Report to the Potomac Ministry Network Board of Directors on April 14, 2026, the nomination process for the office of Superintendent directly followed all guidelines stated in the Potomac Ministry Network Constitution & Bylaws.

The results were 6 candidates who received 10 or more nominations, met the criminal and financial background check requirements, and proceeded to the interview stage with the Nominating Committee. After a prayerfully, thoughtfully, and diligently led interview process, the Nominating Committee unanimously presented to the Potomac Ministry Network Board of Directors these 6 names for consideration to the office of Network Superintendent.
