Small Church Conference

Held each fall, the Small Church Conference is a gathering specifically designed for pastors of small churches (congregations of 100 or less) to enjoy a low-cost weekend of encouragement and connection. KEYNOTE SPEAKER: DALE SELLERS

Dale Sellers has been in ministry for 43 years. He and his wife Gina have been married for 43 years. They have three daughters and two sons in law, and two awesome grandchildren!

He launched Dale Sellers Leadership, Inc. in March 2014 to assist organizations in the areas of leadership, inspiration and evangelism. Dale became a ministry consultant for The Unstuck Group in April 2017 with a focus on helping the small church. In July 2018, he accepted the position as the Executive Director of the 95Network which is a non-profit ministry designed to help small to medium sized churches through Content, Connections, Consulting, Coaching and Conferences.

Dale signed with David C Cook Publishing and released his first book entitled, STALLED: Hope & Help For Pastors Who Thought They'd Be There By Now, in September of 2020. You can contact him at dale@95network.org.

GUEST SPEAKER: TIM HALBFOERSTER

Tim Halbfoerster of Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania, is the lead pastor of River of God Church, a multi-campus church in the Harrisburg area of Pennsylvania. He and his wife, Marie, have pastored this congregation since 1996. Tim had a dramatic conversion experience with Christ in 1980 that brought immediate freedom from years of drug and alcohol addiction. Upon graduation from the University of Valley Forge in 1985 with a Bachelor of Science in the Bible, Tim began to pastor churches in Pennsylvania, revitalizing his first church and planting the next two. He has been an ordained Assemblies of God minister since 1988. In June of 2022, Tim completed a graduate degree in Organizational Leadership with an emphasis in Church Revitalization from the University of Valley Forge.

Since 2003, Tim has led Bridge Builders, a Pennsylvania-Delaware Assemblies of God Network Initiative that assists churches and church members during seasons of conflict. In addition, he has served in various Assembly of God leadership capacities in every section of churches where he has resided. Currently, Tim is serving as presbyter of the South Central East Section of the Penndel Ministry Network of the Assemblies of God. Tim has also served in executive leadership positions in his local ecumenical ministerium. Tim and Marie are patched-in members of the Black Sheep Motorcycle Ministry that serves and evangelizes local H.O.G. members (Harley Davidson Owners Group). He is vice-president of the Harrisburg Black Sheep Chapter.

Tim and Marie have three daughters, three sons-in-law, and eight grandchildren.

Allayna Philadelphia

TOPIC: DECOR ON A BUDGET
Allayna Philadelphia has attended Trinity Baltimore, in Lutherville, MD since she was 5 years old. Creative arts is her passion and has been cultivated over the years at Trinity through annual Fine Arts participation, Youth Leadership, Creative Arts Team membership, and more recently as the campus “go-to” Art project expert where she can often be found implementing a design somewhere on campus.
After graduating from the University of Delaware with a BS in Neuroscience, God called Allayna back to using the artistic gifts He had been cultivating since childhood.
Professionally, Allayna owns a commercial custom embroidery business, where she can apply her creative eye in producing unique designs.
Rev. Benjamin Rainey Jr.

TOPIC: CHURCH FINANCE MADE EASY
Rev. Benjamin Rainey, Jr. is an ordained minister with the Assemblies of God who brings more than two decades of diverse ministry experience to the pulpit. Currently serving as Secretary-Treasurer for the Potomac Ministry Network, Ben blends a pastor’s heart with a CPA’s precision. A graduate of the University of Valley Forge, he holds a Master of Arts in Christian Ministries from the Assemblies of God Theological Seminary and an MBA from Washington Adventist University. Whether advising leaders on church finance, ministers’ taxes, or navigating organizational challenges, Ben communicates with warmth, wisdom, and a touch of humor. Outside the office, you’ll find him cheering on Baltimore’s sports teams, enjoying his children’s ball games, or exploring historical landmarks and natural wonders with his family—proof that he can balance both spreadsheets and a good road trip itinerary.

Pastor Josh Wesley has been leading worship since the age of 13 in various worship settings. He currently serves as an Executive Pastor of Community Life at Chapel Springs Church and is also the Creative Director for the Potomac Ministry Network of the Assemblies of God. With a heart for authentic discipleship, Josh’s passion is to help create spaces and opportunities for people to encounter God in practical and sustainable ways. Both Josh and his wife, Leah, are products of spiritual mentorship, and because of that, they dedicate their lives to pouring into others. As an ordained minister with the Assemblies of God and an endorsed Chaplain in Pastoral Care and Counseling, Tammy serves through the counseling ministry of Isaiah 61 Ministries. Her counseling ministry focuses on helping individuals navigate anxiety, griefs, traumas, relational issues and other life challenges. Her heart is to walk alongside those who are hurting or struggling, helping them to experience the healing, wholeness and freedom that only Christ can bring.

ON-SITE COACHING AVAILABLE WITH: DRS. KEITH AND ESTHER EDWARDS

Drs. Keith and Esther Edwards are pastors, leadership coaches, and founders of Enjoy the Journey Leadership Coaching. Together, they bring decades of ministry and leadership experience, along with a deep passion for helping pastors and ministry leaders thrive personally and in their calling.

Keith serves as National Director of Assemblies of God Coaching and as Executive Presbyter for the Washington Region of the Potomac Ministry Network, providing leadership and support to pastors and churches throughout the region. He is also an ICF Professional Certified Coach (PCC). Esther is a leadership and transition coach with a Doctor of Leadership in Global Perspectives.

Having served together in local church ministry for many years, Keith and Esther understand both the joys and the unique challenges of pastoral leadership. During the Small Church Conference, they will provide one-on-one coaching, offering pastors and leaders a confidential space to process challenges, explore possibilities, and discern practical next steps.
