ROYAL RANGERS
Welcome to Potomac District Royal Rangers, a ministry designed to impact men and boys for God. We use many tools to achieve that goal whether it be camping, merits, or interactive skills, all are designed to help develop a boy into a man while having fun and getting to know God.
Royal Rangers begins on a church level. Though an extension of the Assemblies of God, we are found in many other churches throughout Maryland, most of Virginia and northern West Virginia and Washington D.C. We combine our efforts to host events in church areas known as sections, and then our large events operate in a combined effort of all our Potomac churches in training, skill camps and an annual camping event we call "District Pow Wow."
We want to develop both men and boys in mentoring relationships, leadership skills and guiding them to Jesus Christ. We reach boys, so they may reach another in the world.

Frontiersmen Camping Fellowship (FCF) is a special program of Royal Rangers that provides men and boys with additional opportunities to develop specialized outdoor skills based on the lore and traditions of the early American frontiersmen. FCF members participate in special events where frontier skills are demonstrated and practiced. Competitions are commonly held that promote the development of these skills and reflect the excitement, color, and flair of frontier America.
