ANNOUNCEMENT: For those new students who have started a new credentialing level September 2012

The Potomac School of Ministry Internship requirements for students enrolling in one of the three credentialing levels have been revised effective September 2012. This revised internship program was initiated to better facilitate the student and mentor and to provide a more structured, exciting, and engaging mentorship program.

If you began a new credentialing level in September 2012, you should bring to class (probably by the January class) or send to the PSOM office (1705 Todds Lane, Hampton, VA 23666) the following:
  • Information on your selected mentor to include name, phone, email, and address. Remember that the mentor must be an AG credentialed minister at the same or higher credential level as the one you are pursuing.
  • A one-time fee of $35 to pay for the internship materials. The internship needs to be completed by the time you complete the nine courses for your credentialing level.
For those students who had started a new credentialing level before September 2012:
You may continue with your existing internship program or you may change to the new internship program. If you have been working on your current internship requirements, you would probably want to remain in your current program. If you have not begun your current internship requirements, you may want to consider changing to the new internship program. Please contact Ron DeBerry to discuss your options at the next class you attend or by phone 757-508-9038 or by email: psom@bethel-college.com.

For those students who are enrolled in one of our non-credentialing programs, Certifice of Biblical Studies and Certificate of Ministerial Leadership:
This notice does not apply to you.

Please contact Ron DeBerry at 757-508-9038 or psom@bethel-college.com for any questions.
