Potomac District Council Assemblies of God
POTOMAC SCHOOL OF MINISTRY

Enrollment and Registration

REQUEST INFORMATION

The Potomac School of Ministry is designed to provide foundational and continuing ministerial education for pastors, individuals pursuing Assemblies of God credentials, and Christian workers.  The interactive relational learning in a vivacious spiritual context will provide spiritual formation in every dimension of the student’s life. The Potomac School of Ministry uniquely combines home study, classroom instruction, and relationships with highly qualified mentors to create a superior quality of instruction. The instructors are experienced, ordained pastors and college professors.

Students completing all the courses offered will meet the educational requirements for each level of ministerial credentials set forth by the General Council Bylaws as adopted by the General Presbytery.

The Potomac School of Ministry will be graciously hosted by Bethel College in Hampton, Virginia. As enrollment grows, additional locations will be considered to best serve the needs of the District. We anticipate the Lord of the Harvest responding to our prayer to indeed send students dedicating themselves to ministry preparation, fulfilling our purpose, Living His Mission!

Why add this option to the already existing educational opportunities?

The Potomac School of Ministry is specifically targeted to students whose current options are limited.

A few of the benefits are:

convenience and affordability.

Perspectives and questions shared in classroom of students who have years of experience in ministry.

Camaraderie and accountability among students.

Motivation to complete coursework
according to course schedule.

Networking opportunities.

Relationship building with District leaders
and fellow ministers.
