what is love line?

LOVE LINE is a program set up to remember, and recognize Nationally Appointed full time World Missionaries on their birthdays, anniversaries, and Christmas. Any funds given above the minimum necessary to carry out the program will be used to meet emergency situations encountered by a missionary family. Currently, this program is funded by individual women, Women’s Ministries groups, and churches in the Potomac District.

Each missionary family member is given a monetary gift on his or her birthday.

Each missionary couple is given a monetary gift on their anniversary.

Each missionary family is given a monetary gift for Christmas.

We ask that participants who give to this program contribute at least $24.00 annually (that is only $2.00 a month). Contributors to LOVE LINE will receive a quarterly newsletter from the District Office with prayer requests, praise reports, and other updates from the missionaries, as well as a personal giving statement with a “total year-to-date” giving amount.
