Silent Auction:
In the past, we have had a Silent Auction to benefit various ministries. Last year, we decided not to host a Silent Auction to take a break for a year - however, we are bringing it back this year!
Here's the catch: Each group is to bring a themed basket for auction. A group is defined as at least 2 people. An entire church can participate, or just a few people from a church can participate. Churches can have multiple groups - but at least 2 people need to work on the basket. We want each basket to hold to a theme, but you can pick your theme. Some ideas might consist of a Baking Basket, Beach Basket, Holiday Basket, Car Wash Basket, Scrapbooking Basket, Baby Basket, etc. The ideas are endless! We are using the word "Basket" as a general term. Put your items in a "basket" that goes with your theme. For the Baking Basket, consider a pan to cook a cake or brownies in and put items in there such as the ingredients, recipes, frosting, etc. For the Car Wash Basket, consider a bucket with everything in it you would need to wash a car (minus the water... and the car. However, if a car comes with the basket, Sarah will test drive it to make sure everything is in proper working order before placing it up on the auction block  ).
The important thing is to be CREATIVE! We can't wait to see what ideas you come up with!
