Fall is fast approaching and that means it is time to charter your Girls Ministries clubs. Chartering takes place every September. If you have all six clubs or only one, it is important to charter.
Being a chartered church has many benefits. First, you receive a quarterly info pack from our office. Chartering makes you eligible to attend Girls Ministries retreats. Chartering allows you to know what is happening in the District with Girls Ministries. You learn about training opportunities. Your name is given to your sectional connector, so if you need individual attention, you can get it. Your name is given to the National Girls Ministries office and you will receive information on the National Sleep Over and the yearly theme. Chartering signifies you are a part of a like-minded group that loves to minister to girls and you do not feel like the “Lone Ranger!”
Charter applications not received in our office by October 1st will be charged a $12.00 per club late fee. ($14 for Non A/G churches).
Please fill out both sides of the application completely and correctly. Listing the personal e-mail addresses of each sponsor will allow us to get information to you and your sponsors more effectively. Please list the number of members in each club and please let us know where you would like your packet sent (to your home or to the church.) It is very important that the Coordinator see that information is given to each of the sponsors…don’t leave them out in the dark.
