We are excited to bring back the "Frankly Speaking About Girls Ministries" session.  In this session we will discuss some of newest things to happen in Girls Ministries, both in our District and Nationally.  We will also have an open discussion about Girls Ministries and answer as many questions as we can during this time. So, have your questions ready!

These two sessions will focus on being a decision-making rather than a problem-solving board member. In the paradigm of being a pastor led, board served and congregation approved church we will have conversation about board agendas, leadership development, conflict management, compensation for the pastor and sabbatical considerations for the pastor. (1:00 pm and 2:00 pm; material NOT repeated)

"I have hidden Your Word in my heart..." (Psalm 118:11)  How do I get kids to read, memorize and understand the Word of God?  How do I teach them to apply the Word to their everyday lives? Practical ideas and techniques will be presented to encourage these life-changing habits.  Come ready to share your own ideas too.

Spending time in His Presence opens us to the Holy Spirit Who shows us what we need for wholeness. Then we experience His healing power as we listen to His directions.

The world in which we live has been transformed by the media. Media today is no longer the domain of the big television and radio conglomerates but belongs to every man, woman and child. We will explore this New Media World and help the participants to form a local strategic media plan. Included in this will be a presentation of the implications of: social media, technology in worship, internet strategies, and the international implications of a local church media presence.

Can your listeners “see” your Bible stories? Can they feel grains of sand slipping through their fingers, hear the giggles of small children at play, or smell the reek of camels after a long desert trek? Learn how storytellers take their listeners with them to live in Bible times and identify more completely with Bible truths.

This workshop will cover some of the strategies and best practices to get the most out of your social media activities – including time management and measuring the return of your activities. We will:
• talk about what social media marketing really is,
• see how to incorporate it into your organizational operations without losing productivity, and
• look at real-life examples of how other organizations are using these low-cost tools to gain visibility, develop relationships and drive engagement, fundraising and response.

We will discuss the various social media outlets that are available, how they interact together, ways to leverage their inherent strengths and tools to evaluate them for best use for your business or organization.

During this workshop we will be looking at the current trends of early childhood care, recommendations from various ministries, ministry moments and a Q&A time.
