 Last fall as I sat making plans for 2010 and listening to the hearts of the leadership team, we began to yearn for a chance to have our entire body together in a holy convocation. The passion rose within me that this is not a light thing. I feel that we must have a solemn assembly, seeking God in prayer for our future in the Assemblies of God, and interceding for our nation. I am asking every credentialed minister in the Potomac District to make every effort to gather at Christ Chapel in Woodbridge, Virginia, Sunday, May 2, 2010 at 7:00 pm.
That evening we will engage in formal prayer, vital intercession and passionate worship. I am convinced that we should not embark on elections of officers and other important decisions without first soaking our gathering in prayer and the presence of God. I look forward to our time together.
