Are You Up To a KENYA CHALLENGE? We are asking that each chaperone and camper bring a $5 BGMC donation this year to camp to help "Rainbow Surprise" and "Kenya's Kids" in East Africa. "Rainbow Surprise" is a weekly fast-formatted, bright-colored, multi-set Christian TV program. "Kenya's Kids" is a home for street orphans, providing food, clothing, medical care and education.
We are praying for 100% participation in order to provide $10,000 for African children. We are actually going to have a "Rainbow Surprise Photo Booth" built at Pine Creek Camp so that campers can be the stars in their very own photo shoot.
For every $5 a camper donates to our BGMC project, he/she will have their picture taken in the "Rainbow Surprise Photo Booth.”.Not only will campers have fun going through the costume and prop closet but they’ll also take home a picture strip with several different poses with one of their friends. For every additional $5 donation campers can have their picture taken with a different friend and receive another picture strip to take home.
Begin promoting this project to your registered campers now. Better yet, promote it to your entire church and bring a church-wide BGMC offering to your week of camp and we’ll fit as many of your group in the photo booth as possible for a group shot. Plus, your church will receive giving credit for the kids' donations as well as the church check.
