Network Structure Updates


The new Constitution and Bylaws were adopted at the 2016 Potomac Network Conference by a 94% affirmative vote.  Links to the new documents are here:


The Council ratified six Regional Executive Presbyters and four At-Large Executive Presbyters, who along with the Superintendent, Assistant Superintendent, and Secretary-Treasurer comprise the Board of Directors. (View list here.) Presbyters have been appointed for newly formed circles. A listing of regions and circles is here.



As has been shared in the informational meetings, the proposed PMN structure includes six regions (compared to the previous four regions).  Regional Forums are scheduled in advance of the 2016 Potomac Network Conference as follows: (All sessions begin at 10:00 am, followed by lunch.)

Central – 3/7/16: Victory Church, Winchester, VA  

Baltimore – 3/8/16: Trinity Life, Lutherville, MD       

Western – 3/10/16: Central AG, Cumberland, MD   

Washington – 3/14/16: Christ Chapel, Woodbridge, VA 

Coastal – 3/15/16: Coastal Virginia Church, Norfolk, VA    

Southern – 3/17/16: Celebration Outreach Ministry, 5501 Midlothian Tpke., Richmond, VA   


01.14.2016 - Informational meetings continue to be held in the first few weeks of this year in several of our sections. (As many as possible took place in 2015.)  If an informational meeting is scheduled for your area, you will receive the time/place details from your presbyter.


10.07.2015 - Superintendent Ken Burtram gave an interim report at the 2015 Ministers Retreat.  View the report here.

9.28.2015 - Regional leadership met in several sub-committee sessions in preparation for the September Board of Presbyters meeting, constructing an outline for the Network Structure.  The Board will consider final approval of the structure recommendations at its meeting in November.


7.27.2015 - The Executive Team has been working through the summer designing a process for moving forward to create the network structure according to the action taken at the 2015 Potomac Network Conference.  The full Board will meet in September to complete this phase of planning. Updates will be posted here as additional information becomes available.
